The workshop that The Bullpen held was thoroughly enjoyed by all those children who took part. The structure of the session was both informative and creative and the children were fascinated by the work of ‘real artists’. The location is great for us as a local for school providing us with a facility which we can walk to or if necessary use the minimum amount of transport. |
The Bullpen Gallery was completed in 2007. It is a beautifully restored small, old stone barn which is connected by new-build to the studios. It houses temporary exhibitions showing the work of leading local artists and those from further afield, exploring a range of work, techniques, disciplines and styles - all contemporary. It will give artists a base from which they will have the opportunity to display and sell their work. Artists wishing to exhibit work in the gallery should send a detailed proposal (with images) for selection by the directors. Group and Solo exhibition proposals will be considered.
