Wool Weekend
The weekend winter exhibition was attended by over 80 people, several of whom also took part in the taster felt-making and weaving workshops. Helen Jacobs showed visitors how to create pieces of cloth from wool fibres and to use felting needles to embellish the felt. Angela Pawlyn demonstrated various patterns with five looms on display, and locals contributed to The Bullpen 'Community Weave'.

Muck Matters
This exhibition is both a creative output and a teaching tool - bronze and iron sculpture exhibits are shown alongside the moulds and materials from which they were made.
Children and adults alike will be fascinated by the display of organic matter used in mould-making, which include clay and dung (buffalo, cow and horse) from Mill Farm, local sand and brick grog from Suffolk.

What they say about The Bullpen:

Having spent a memorable afternoon and morning on a bronze casting workshop for non-artists, I can wholeheartedly recommend this type of event to anyone. As an art historian, it was especially valuable for me to be able to experience at first hand the process of making the type of object I spend my working life studying. Furthermore, coming to watch the final pouring of the hot molten bronze into our moulds was a thrilling experience.
